Lighthouse Workshops

During the school year, classes are available on Sunday mornings beginning at 10:00 a.m.; the morning program is called Lighthouse.
Jr. Lighthouse is for:   Toddlers/Twos in Room 208  Preschool (3s, 4s, 5s) in Room 207
Lighthouse Workshops are for Ks through 5th graders -- our program is based on the Workshop Rotation Model (WoRM). Participants are divided into age levels (Ks, 1st/2nd, 3rd/4th, 5th) and are shepherded through new workshops each week. These include drama, puppetry, storytelling, theater, arts/crafts, games/activities, cooking, and more. (More information on WoRM can be reviewed at www.rotation.org.) At the end of each unit the entire Lighthouse Team gathers for a special event with music and movement.
One-Room Sunday School -- offered during the 11:15 a.m. worship service and available for children 4 years through 4th grade after the Children's Moment in worship, both during the school year and during the summer.
Children are encouraged to celebrate the Christian Year through a variety of special events:
• Easter Party, experiencing Christ's final week and celebrating the resurrection
• Pentecost Party, end of the year celebration of the birth of the Christian church
• Summer activities -  - Vacation Bible camp, third week in July - Drama camps led by nationally renowned director, teacher and author Kerri Lynn Nichols

Junior Lighthouse is for:   Toddlers/Twos in Room 208  Preschool (3s, 4s, 5s) in Room 207

Beacon Rock is a Sunday morning program for Tweens (5th and 6th graders). Live B.I.G. is designed to help kids learn about the love of God through Jesus so they can live out their “Belief in God.” Kids go beyond the classroom as they are engaged by Christian role models and obtain a deeper understanding of Jesus and the impact he can have on their lives.
