The First Olympia Hiking Group provides an opportunity for outdoor lovers to enjoy fellowship together and experience the natural beauty of the Northwest on some of our nearby trails. Co-leaders Mae Wharton and Ginger Sarver plan a one day-hike each month, weather permitting. We welcome anyone who wishes to join the group as their schedules permit and we try to vary the difficulty of our hikes from easy trails to more moderate challenges. New members are always welcome and can be added to our email communication list by contacting the church office or Mae (email@example.com) or Ginger (firstname.lastname@example.org). Over the past two years we have enjoyed such hikes as Naches Loop, Rampart Ridge, Hurricane Ridge, Nisqually Wildlife Preserve, McLane Nature Trail, Lena Lake, and Staircase Rapids. For questions or more information, contact Mae or Ginger.
