First Olympia is committed to supporting our local community partners. For the ever growing list of the organizations we support you can visit our Missions and Social Concerns page. When we receive targeted asks we try to alert our church family so they can participate as they are able.

Madison Elementary School

Sunday June 18, 10am-1pm at Value Village (on Sleatter-Kinney Rd). Bring your clothes and household items and tell Value Village that you are donating them on behalf of the Madison Elementary PTO. The proceeds from these donations will be used to fund a new Art Club and other enrichment programs.

Family Support Center

Camp Hope – Over the summer FSC is hosting 2, 1-week long overnight camps for children whose lives are affected by trauma domestic violence. They are seeking volunteer camp counselors and supplies for the camp. Click the words “Camp Hope” for more details.

 

Pear Blossom Place – Pear Blossom Place is Thurston County’s largest homeless shelter for families with children. They are seeking overnight hosts (7pm-7am). Volunteers are asked to commit to one night per month for a minimum of three months.
