Serve on Sunday Mornings

A Variety of OPPORTUNITIES

Every Sunday morning we come together to worship and we are blessed by the hard work of our dedicated and helpful volunteers.

There are many different ways to serve our God in worship on Sunday mornings and beyond. Some volunteers help every week, others monthly, and others still substitute in on an as needed basis. Some volunteers are children, others are a few years older than that. Thank you for participating to make our time together a time of hospitality, spirituality, and love.
Here are a few ways you can serve:

Acolytes: For children/teens 4th-8th grade. Acolytes bring the light of Christ into the church each Sunday by lighting candles on the altar.
Lectors: Read our morning scripture passage- open to all ages!
Communion Stewards: assist the pastors in serving the communion elements (bread and grape juice) on the first Sunday of the month.
Hospitality Team - In Person: The hospitality team happily welcomes people to into the building on Sunday mornings with a big smile! Other tasks include checking people in at the attendance station, helping folks find seats, handing out activity packs to the children, distributing assisted-hearing devices and more!
Hospitality Team - Online: The online hospitality team welcome folks worshipping from home by participating in the Youtube chat during our worship livestream.
Audio/Visual Technicians: Run slides, microphones, and our weekly livestream
Music: You can find more information about our incredible music team and how you can get involved here
Sanctuary Stewards: Sanctuary stewards stay after worship on Sundays or come during the week on an as needed basis to prepare the sanctuary for worship. Tasks may include preparing the communion table, refilling the candles with oil and general tidying.

Please contact the church office and let us know which of these roles you’d be interested in serving and we’ll connect you to one of our Sunday Morning volunteer coordinators.
